About me

After a career working for publishing and creative agencies, I followed my passion for food and retrained at The Edinburgh School of Food and Wine. I worked as a private chef in the beautiful wilds of Perthshire but decided to swap the hills for city life, and returned to London to work as a food stylist and chef.

In between food styling work and recipe writing, I taught at Food at 52 cookery school, who run a range of lively and engaging adult classes – from Thai and Vietnamese to vegetarian, Spanish and Southern Indian. As well as being lots of fun, I really thrived on interacting with the customers and helping them develop their cookery skills.

I then swapped city life and moved to the hills of Devon. It was obviously meant to be! I am now working as a recipe chef for Riverford Organics on their stunning farm creating new recipes for recipe box meals.

Food is my absolute passion – cooking with seasonal ingredients, creating new delicious recipes or discovering inspirational places to eat. When I’m not cooking I love to run across Dartmoor or hike along the coastal paths with a crab sandwich in my picnic box.
